Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was an overall pleasant experience. The rooms, while comfortable and offering views of the mountains, lacked sufficient soundproofing and were not as luxurious as one might expect from a high-end hotel. The location was superb, right on Mountain Road and close to Stowe Mountain, making it convenient for both town activities and mountain excursions.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, despite the initial hiccup with the booking, were affordable, comfortable, and fairly clean, offering a spacious stay on the second floor. However, service was a mixed bag with some staff being lackluster and rude, though Carol stood out positively. The location was convenient to the mountain and nearby attractions, but issues with the strong bleach smell and noisy environment affected our stay. Dining was excellent, especially at The Roost, but with room for improvement in some aspects. Overall, a decent stay with both positives and negatives.
The hotel is located at the top of the hill, offering spacious rooms that are comfortable and overlook the mountains for the most part. The staff are very welcoming and keen on making the stay and conference a great experience. The location is fabulous, with stunning views of the mountains and well-manicured surroundings; however, the automatic 22% gratuity may not suit everyone's preference. The dining, though over-priced for what you get, includes local fruits. Overall, a delightful stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel creates an ambiance like a locker room after a successful game, with clean and lovely rooms at $380+ a night. The overall experience was leaps and bounds better all around, making the stay enjoyable despite a few minor drawbacks.
